Description
This committee works to make sure all risk management policies and procedures are being followed, including risk management guidelines outlined in the province assembly planning guide and Kappa Psi social media policies. In the time between assemblies, the committee serves as a resource for all brothers in Pacific West Province regarding risk management concerns. During Province Assembly, the committee will appoint the appropriate number of Sober Brothers based on province attendance.
· Charges to be completed prior to upcoming province
· Review chapter reports for risk management violations
· Prepare risk management presentation with Supervisors’ guidance
· Collect rosters for each social event and determine appropriate number of sober Brothers required if alcohol may be available
· Charges to be completed during province
· Hold a meeting with sober Brothers to explain their roles
· Lead risk management presentation
· Inform Brothers attending social events who sober Brothers are and how to identify them
· Ongoing charges
· Review social media posts to the province accounts
· Hold monthly office hours for chapters to seek advice regarding risk management concerns and refer them as needed to IEC
· Hold a town hall in mid/late August for chapter Pledge Committees to review risk management policies related to rush/pledge events
